Project: package, sort and deliver food to those in need at Terry’s Table in Cut-N-Shoot, the poorest part of Montgomery County.

Volunteers will

  • Provide a friendly welcome
  • Help sort and package, and/or help take the groceries out to the families' vehicles.
  • Pray with families

Compassion United (Homeless Ministry) partners with the Montgomery County Food Bank’s (MCFB) Food Distributions to provide nutritious food, including fresh produce and refrigerated items, directly to communities with a high need.

God’s Garage is a volunteer driven ministry that shares the love of Christ to single mom’s, widows and wives of deployed military personnel by providing car repairs or donation of vehicles to these ladies.

Kairos Prison Ministry is a volunteer-led, interdenominational Christian ministry in which Christ’s love and forgiveness are shared with incarcerated men and women throughout our prison system. Learn more at kairosprisonministry.org

Agape is love and within Christianity is recognized as the tangible love originating from God. Through Kairos, Agape becomes visible through the handmade placemats and posters along with letters of encouragement shared with incarcerated men and women.

In partnership with Caring Ministry of TWMC, we are looking to provide an opportunity to remind the elderly that they are seen, known and loved. We will spread throughout the community in visiting nursing homes as well as making some at-home visits. Providing care, prayer, time and attention for those most in need.

Our Caring Ministry at TWMC works diligently to make sure that our elderly in and outside of the community are cared for.

Project: work on projects at the Women's Shelter ranging from cooking, assembling intake packets, and cleaning

The Montgomery County Women’s Center has been committed for many years to providing a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and legal services to survivors of family violence, sexual assault and stalking.

Angel Reach serves foster/kinship families and youth who have aged out of the foster care system, as well as homeless and at-risk youth. Angel Reach Village is being built to provide transitional housing to assist with empowering at-risk and homeless youth between the ages of 18-24 to become more productive members of our community.

Project: help with event kick-off, including checking-in the youth, serving breakfast, participating in activities with the youth after breakfast and helping transition to worship-time.

This event is happening in partnership with the Champion Project. The Champion Project is a trauma-informed mentoring program that works in local group homes to help provide stability and consistency in the lives of teens in foster care.
