Early Childhood (3, Prek, Kindergarten): Our main program includes dozens of weekly volunteers to help support a small group of children. A core Early Childhood staff and interns help to organize, prepare and set up lessons and activities each week. Our young children participate in large group praise and worship where they sing songs and hear about Jesus. Volunteers oversee small groups in age-specific classrooms in order to focus on the biblical truths that our children are learning.
Elementary (1st - 4th grade): Our 1st – 4th grade Sunday School program is designed to encourage and nurture the spiritual understanding and growth of our elementary-aged children. Children are welcomed by the friendly faces of staff ministry leaders, adult volunteers and teenage interns to join us in building friendships, enjoying fellowship, singing praise and discovering biblical truths.
56 (5th and 6th grade) Woodlands Campus Only: 56 Sunday school is an important step toward Confirmation readiness. Classes are offered on Sunday mornings at either 9:30 or 11:15 a.m. We start our morning with praise and worship in the 56 classroom followed by large and small group teaching. Our goal in 56 Sunday school is for students to develop a biblical foundation enabling them to better understand the Bible and to gain practical knowledge they can apply in their everyday life.
Confirmation: Confirmation program prepares 6th graders to claim the Christian faith as his or her own. We typically have around 220 confirmands each year and celebrate 60 baptisms. Within a small group, your student will develop a spiritual foundation while building valuable relationships with the other students and the adult leaders of their group.
