WE HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Loft Greeters play an important role in welcoming people to worship each weekend. Duties for this serving team include opening the doors and greeting people as they enter the service, passing the offering baskets during services, and other service-related items as needed.
Connection Point volunteers are the smiling faces that help first-time visitors find their way. Connection Point is where visitors go to find out more about the church and all of the activities we have available, as well as provide information about joining the Loft.
Volunteer to be a friendly face and warm presence in the café, including setting up and cleaning up before and after service.
This group of volunteers is asked to serve communion during a Loft service, if available, the first weekend of every month.
COMMUNION SET-UP TEAM
The Communion Set-Up Team works together to prepare communion the first weekend of every month. Roles on this team includes properly preparing items for use in worship, setting up the elements in the worship center before each service, and cleaning up and properly disposing of the elements after service.
COMMUNITY EVENTS/SERVICE TEAM
Help plan and coordinate Loft community gatherings and events as well as Loft local mission opportunities. This team will help us create space for Lofters to deepen relationships by hanging out or serving together.
No previous experience is needed to volunteer in Media — a staff member will gladly show you everything you need to know. Volunteers are needed to help with video cameras, lyric slides and more.
Children's Ministry is always looking for adults to serve as small group leaders, large group teachers, greet team members, help with craft preparation and more. A background check is required.
General volunteer opportunities are perfect for those that can't find time to volunteer consistently but would be willing to be called on from time to time. Possible opportunities can include helping with book sales, merchandise sales, special events, Christmas and Easter services, and other opportunities where an extra pair of hands and a smile are needed.
