Angel Reach

The goal of Angel Reach is to help children and youth achieve their full potential in spite of the obstacles placed on them by broken families and a broken system.


Angel Tree

Provide Christmas gifts, toys and clothing for the children of people who are incarcerated and cannot care for their families. This ministry is part of Prison Fellowship, and volunteer opportunities are available for buyers, coordinators and deliverers.


Christian Restorative Justice Mentors Association

CRJMA’s vision is that every incarcerated inmate has the opportunity to make a successful transition into the free world through a Christ-centered mentoring program.


Christmas Miracles

Christmas Miracles helps underprivileged children and senior adults celebrate a joyous Christmas season with gifts and food.


Community Christian Legal Aid

The Woodlands UMC, in partnership with Community Christian Legal Aid, will host Legal Aid clinics for those who are at-risk and in need of legal services in our community on the fourth Saturday (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) of each month.


Compassion United

Compassion United provides outreach, relief and empowerment in the lives of the poor, homeless, addicted, and outcast in Montgomery County.


Craft Circle

Ladies of all ages meet each Tuesday to enjoy crafting, fellowship and lunch. The year culminates in November with two events featuring handmade and holiday items for sale and auction: The Boutique and Chef’s Favorites, and the annual Masterpiece Gala and Auction.


Creative Hands Ministries

Make items such as baby bibs and blankets, love totes and more for various ministries. No experience necessary.



Cru is an inter-denominational Christian ministry that began in 1951. Today it's a global movement of God impacting over 190 countries. At Texas State, their vision is to introduce students and faculty to Jesus Christ, build them up in their faith, and launch them out to change the world.


Driving Family Futures

Our Missions Ministry accepts donations of vehicles to provide transportation for families coming out of homelessness. We partner with local ministries to match donated cars with families who are actively pursuing ways to improve their current circumstances.


Elizabeth’s Place

Elizabeth's Place is a ministry of The Woodlands UMC with the sole purpose of supporting and mentoring young mothers. Elizabeth's Place looks forward to encouraging pregnant teens or teen moms as they take on the responsibilities of their new parenting role.


Family Promise

Founded in 2001, Family Promise’s vision is to alleviate homelessness for families with children. Families in need come to Family Promise after an eviction, a family break up, a home fire and many different reasons.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.


Geezer Squad

We are a group of about 45 retired or semi-retired volunteers who build wheel chair ramps and perform other handyman projects. We are also very active with Habitat for Humanity.


Generation One

Generation One is a trans-denominational ministry in Houston that dedicates itself to the spiritual growth and physical rebuilding of impoverished areas in the Third Ward.


Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, TX is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operating on Christian principles that seek to put God's love into action by building homes, communities and hope.


Hope Beyond Bridges

We serve together with Hope Beyond Bridges the second Saturday of every month to deliver meals to the homeless along I-45.


Human Trafficking Awareness

Modern-day slavery is a real problem that occurs in our own backyard. We meet monthly to discuss and plan for upcoming awareness activities and training.


Interfaith Community Clinic

Interfaith Community Clinic is a volunteer based health care center whose primary goal is to provide medical, dental, mental health counseling and social service support to those in our community who have no form of health insurance.


Jubilee Prison Ministry

A “Fourth Day” program that is designed to engage incarcerated men and women in what is hoped will be a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.


Kairos Prison Ministries

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.


Little Footprints Children's Mission

Little Footprints helps street babies and moms by providing practical assistance enabling them to break the cycles of poverty, abuse, neglect, and when needed, referrals for short or long term care through Loving Houston Adoption Agency.


Love Fosters Hope

Love Fosters Hope has many facets, but one purpose: to impact the lives of children and teens in foster care who have been abused, neglected or abandoned.


Love146, Inc.

Love146 is an international human rights organization working to end child trafficking and exploitation through survivor care and prevention.


Methodist Children's Home

Methodist Children’s Home provides services to children and youth daily through residential care, foster care and other services.


Montgomery County Food Bank

The Montgomery County Food Bank warehouses and distributes food to approximately 50 member agencies throughout Montgomery County.


Montgomery County Women's Center

The Montgomery County Women's Center provides a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy and legal services to survivors of family violence, sexual assault and stalking.


Pregnancy Assistance Center North

PACN is a non-profit medical clinic offering confidential services for women and men with access to unbiased, client-centered care that is compassionate and accurate, especially when facing an unplanned pregnancy or sexual health concern.


Redeemed Ministries

Redeemed Ministries’ core competencies include outreach, aftercare and advocacy giving churches the opportunity to network and find their place in the fight against human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.


Regent Care

Play games with senior citizens at Regent Care (10450 Gosling).

Shared Treasures

Shared Treasures is a Foster Family store that provides gently used clothing for all ages. Foster families can shop monthly to receive one or two outfits per child, and once a year receive one or two toys/gift items for children’s birthdays — all completely free.


Society of St. Stephen

The church provides financial assistance to needy families in our congregation and the South Montgomery County area. If you would like to help with a special donation and provide much-needed assistance with food, clothing, rent and/or utility bills, please contact the church regarding a designated offering to this ministry.


Young Life

Young Life starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust and consistency.
