HBU Apologetics Day 2019

Sat, Feb 23, 2019

Harvest Worship Center

Apologetics is defined as the reasoned arguments or writings in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine.

We are proud to host the 2019 Apologetics Day presented by the Houston Baptist University School of Christian Thought.

Come learn how philosophical and cultural apologetics help us share the good news about Jesus. Top scholars will be presenting at this one-day event that will help you to effectively communicate and defend the Christian faith. Topics will include arguments for the existence of God, contemporary challenges to Christian ethics, worldview apologetics, and arguments for the trustworthiness of scripture.

One of the featured keynote speakers William Lane Craig, Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and Professor of Philosophy at Houston Baptist University, author of On Guard: Defending Your Faith with Reason and Precision and presenter of the Defenders Series podcast.

There will also be a student track for 7th - 12th graders that looks at “Worldview and Pop Culture” and “Science and Faith.”

Rev. Kimberly Constant will host the conference as well as present a break-out session.

To register, please go to HBU Apologetics Day.
