My husband, David, and I along with our two children, Melissa and Aaron moved to The Woodlands in December 1996 with stars in our eyes and a great sense of adventure in this beautiful community surrounded by God's nature. We quickly began our search for a new church home and we were led almost immediately here to The Woodlands UMC where we were embraced as we joined small groups and ministries to embed in the fabric of life with this church family.
It has been a great joy to serve over ten years here as Children's Minister and with even more excitement that in March 2008 I accepted the promotion to Dr. Robb's Senior Planning Team as Family Life Minister. This new role allows me to look at ministry to the entire family as I oversee these ministries: Family Life; Children; Women; Recreation and Special Needs. Birthing Family Life Ministry is what has led to the creation of this website as we partner together to strengthen families.
Aaron and Melissa are now grown but David continues to led mission and service projects and I am working to complete my final year of seminary to attain my Master's in Biblical Leadership.
