Pamela is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated summa cum laude from Texas Southern University/University Center of The Woodlands. Her counseling specialty is Play Therapy. Pamela has over 175 hours of additional educational training in Play Therapy including courses in adolescent play therapy. She has experience in chemical dependency, industrial, community, public health, hospitals and schools. She has worked in offices of physicians and psychologists.
Pamela also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa and is a Registered Nurse. She has been practicing as a Licensed Health Care Professional for 33 years. As a licensed health care professional, Pamela has served as a Psychological Case Coordinator in South Bend, Indiana. She has served as a camp nurse and counselor. Currently, Pamela works full time as a licensed health care professional with Conroe Independent School District. Pamela enjoys applying the principles of Play Therapy to children, adolescents, families, and groups. Pamela is a member of The Woodlands United Methodist Church. She has been married for 31 years and has two children.
