Noah’s Nook Nursery

Children are precious at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, and we strive to make our nursery fun and stimulating for even the youngest child coming through our door. While we realize it can be difficult to leave your child in the care of others, we want to assure you that our staff has genuine love for the work they do.

Our nursery is staffed by paid, experienced workers who are certified yearly by the American Red Cross in CPR and First Aid. They also participate in continuing education classes and seminars which cover a variety of topics including child development, safety and sanitation procedures.

We offer a loving, Christian atmosphere. All of our nursery rooms are safe, fun and filled with age-appropriate toys, games and books.

Parents’ Night Out

Parents’ Night Out is a great time to reconnect with your spouse, meet a friend for dinner, or just relax somewhere quiet with a good book. Your children ages newborn through pre-k 5-year-olds will have a wonderful time with us playing, cooking in our kitchen, making a special art project, or watching a funny movie while you are off campus enjoying yourself. Children will receive a snack but need to have eaten dinner before arrival. If you want to send pajamas, we’re happy to get your child ready for bed. Some children enjoy bringing a pillow or sleeping bag to lay down with when we turn a movie on for quiet time later in the evening. We try our best to keep infants on their own schedule.

Another Great Escape for Mom

The church nursery is used not only on Sunday, but also for many events throughout the week, both day and evenings. You never need a reservation for any of the Sunday morning or holiday services, but you may need a reservation for other events. For nursery availability, check with the nursery representative for your organization or call the Noah’s Nook Reception Desk.

Your group must complete a Nursery Request form, which you may obtain at the Noah’s Nook Reception Desk or by downloading the form online. The form must be submitted by the 20th of the month that precedes your event. Call us any time with questions!
