New Roots is a group to empower women new to The Woodlands area or looking to establish a deeper connection in the community. Whether you have recently moved to the area, or are going through a major life change, New Roots can help you connect and thrive.
New Roots is led by community-minded women with a passion for helping others enrich their lives and their faith.
- Establish relationships with women embarking on similar transitional journeys
- Embrace change and strengthen their family through God’s love
- Connect with honest, helpful and welcoming women who can help identify the practical resources your family needs to make The Woodlands home
- Discover the many ministry opportunities at The Woodlands United Methodist Church
New Roots will host various speakers — people from the community and the church to acquaint newcomers with their new surroundings. Each meeting will be highlighted by a guest speaker, followed by small group discussion about focusing on God during time of transition and change.
