Craft Circle
If you have basic skills in sewing, doll-making, floral design, quilting, painting, counted cross-stitch, needlepoint or any other creative art, and would like to use your gifts to serve others; you are invited to join Craft Circle.
Craft Circle has been an active women’s ministry at The Woodlands UMC since 1980. Ladies of all ages meet each Tuesday from mid-January through November to enjoy crafting, fellowship and lunch. The year culminates in November with two highly anticipated events: The Boutique and Chef’s Favorites, followed by the annual Masterpiece Gala and Auction.
All proceeds from these events are given directly to The Woodlands UMC Missions Ministry which benefits mission projects here in our community, in our country, and around the world.
New members are welcome any time and childcare is available.

Masterpiece Gala and Auction

The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center
An annual event for over 30 years, the Masterpiece Gala and Auction will be held this year at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. The ladies of the Craft Circle have once again used their multiple talents to create beautifully handcrafted works of art in support of nearly 100 local, national and international missions programs.
From a small group of eight women who conceived the idea as a way to generate funds for missions support in the early 1980s, the Craft Circle has grown to over 160 members who meet weekly in preparation for the Gala. Featured items include floral arrangements, soft sculpture, needlepoint, cross stitch, and painted wood projects, as well as the centerpiece of the auction, a handmade quilt.
The Gala will feature a three-course dinner, silent and live auctions, and a wonderful evening of fellowship. Table sponsorships and individual tickets are available. Please join us for an evening celebrating the missions outreach of The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. - 1 Peter 4:10
