Christmas Miracles

The 2011 Christmas season is rapidly approaching, and Christmas Miracles is preparing for another great year. Our trees will be up in the Outler Atrium, Aldersgate Hall, and The Loft starting Saturday, November 19 and continuing each weekend until Sunday, December 18. Please stop by and select a gift tag for a child in need in Montgomery County. In addition, the Boy Scouts will be handing out grocery bags. Please take a bag or two, fill them, and return them to The Loft: we need all the bags returned to provide for the hundreds of families requesting food. You can also make a monetary donation which will be used to purchase Christmas dinners for the families in our program.

Donating

Tags for children in need will be available at both the Main and Loft campuses before and after worship:

  • November 19 and 20
  • November 26 and 27
  • December 3 and 4
  • December 10 and 11
  • December 18 (if any tags still remain!)

If you are interested in adopting an entire family, or have questions, please contact Betsy Sebastian.

Tag Distribution

Volunteers are needed to help people select their tags from the tree and then ensure that everything is recorded. If you would like to volunteer, please register for a shift:

Collection

If you would like to volunteer to collect and deliver gifts, please contact Amy Neugebauer. You are invited to attend a collectors meeting on Sunday, November 6 at 4:00 p.m. in Room B106 or on Monday, November 7 at 7:00 p.m. in Room D214.
