PetersonThis study focuses on David, "a man after God's own heart". David was personally chosen by God to be king of Israel and an ancestor of Jesus Christ. Yet we know that David also sinned greatly, being an adulterer and a murderer. By studying David's life we can learn of human characteristics that are God-honoring and of how even though we sin, it is through honest repentance and worship that we remain close to God.
