Project: Learn to sew bags to hold toiletry kits for use through Family Promise.
Creative Hands is a TWUMC ministry that makes items such as baby bibs, blankets, pillow cases, toiletry kits and so much more for various ministries that we support.
Family Promise serves homeless families with children by offering shelter, meals, transportation and compassion assistance leading to independence.
Serve Time: 8:30 am - 12:00pm Total number of volunteers needed: 20 Schedule for October 5: Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the Harvest Worship Center for a Kick-off event Light continental breakfast Pick up T-shirts After the Kick-off, we will meet in a room on the Woodlands campus Family Friendly Activity - children ages 7 and older Childcare is available for children 5 years and younger (8:00am - 12:00pm). A fee of $10.00 per person participating in Serve It Up is requested to help cover the cost of the materials for projects.
