Discipleship Ministry
D’oh! We wanted to show you something here, but only have a Flash version available right now. :-( Email us and let us know which page you got this message on, and we’ll get a more compatible version up for you ASAP!
A “disciple” is someone who is dedicated to the teachings of another in order to be more like that person. As disciples of Christ, we study His word to continue our spiritual growth and become more like Him, and the courses and studies detailed here are intended to help you do just that.
Additional discipleship opportunities can be found in Men’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Student Ministry.

How to Help and Love Your Adult Child
Five-week study led by Rev. Rob Renfroe and local counselors for parents seeking to navigate their relationship with their adult child (35 plus, married or unmarried). You’ll discover that you are not alone in this stage of your life and learn strategies for being a positive force in your adult children’s (and grandchildren’s) lives while getting on with your own. Learn what you can do and can’t do and how to influence without attempting to control. Wednesdays, 7 – 9 p.m. in the Otterbein Room beginning Feb. 22.
Lenten Study: Parables and Passion
Join us for a weekly co-ed study group, either Sundays at 5 – 7 p.m. or Tuesdays, 7 – 9 p.m. throughout the season of Lent as we discover the parables with new significance as they become more transparent and clearly applicable to our lives. Study includes reflection on one parable each weekday. Groups will begin with a short orientation meeting on Feb. 19 and 21 when books will be distributed. The cost of the book is $15.
